New Format(s) for Breakthrough News Now Available

For the first time in 35 years GEA is offering email and web-based versions of Breakthrough News (BTN). GEA is also introducing a new format and publication schedule.

Given concerns for the sustainability of our planet, GEA is working hard to reduce our environmental impact. We are doing this in a number of ways. For beginners, we will now only publish two issues of BTN annually. To keep you informed, in May each year we will publish a short issue with updates on GEA’s recent activities. Toward the end of the year we will publish a larger, more scholarly issue featuring the type of substance and in depth articles you have grown accustomed to over the years.

Reducing the number of issues published each year is only the beginning. We are also now publishing BTN on the web and will be able to send out subscriptions by email.

Please help us reduce our environmental impact by requesting to change your BTN subscription to an email format. By requesting BTN by email you will also help us reduce postage and printing costs, thereby assuring a majority of GEA’s budget will go toward supporting our projects and initiatives around the world. We are happy to continue sending you the latest editions of Breakthrough News via the post and will only change your subscription if you request it.
