On Saturday, September 27 GEA President, Patricia Mische will be conducting an all day workshop entitled “Earth Spirit Rising: Food, Community and the Spiritual Journey on a Planet Hungry for the Fullness of Life.” This workshop will be the final event of the Prairiewoods 2008 Ecological Conference.

Through meditation, presentation, reflection and discussion, this workshop will explore and celebrate Earth as a living, evolving community.  The program will look at how we can enter this life-giving and naturally nourishing process with a deeper commitment. It will also look at the implications, ethics, public policy and the best food practices at the local and global levels.
